Ottawa County
Republic County
Heavy snow, with total snow accumulations of 4 to 9 inches are possible. Additionally, northeast winds around 15 mph with gusts up to 25 mph may cause some blowing and drifting snow.
Travel could be very difficult. The hazardous conditions could impact the morning and evening commute.

Winter storm watches have been issued for counties in our area.
The National Weather Service in Wichita has issued a winter storm watch in effect from Wednesday evening through Thursday afternoon that includes Lincoln County.
Moderate to heavy snow, with total snow accumulations of 4 to 7 inches possible. Additionally, wind chill values will fall to near zero by Thursday morning.
Plan on slippery road conditions. The hazardous conditions could impact the morning or evening commute.
The National Weather Service in Hastings, Neb., has issued a winter storm watch in effect from Wednesday evening through Thursday afternoon for the following counties in our area.
Jewell County
Mitchell County
Heavy snow, with total snow accumulations of 4 to 7 inches possible. The wind will generally be northeasterly at around 15 mph with gusts of 20 to 25 mph, therefore, some blowing and drifting snow will also be possible.
Plan on slippery road conditions with reduced visibility. Most of the expected snow will fall Wednesday night into Thursday morning, which could impact the Thursday morning commute.
