Salina's Holgerson, McAdoo on MIAA Women's Tennis Academic HR

KANSAS CITY, Mo. - The Fort Hays State women's tennis team had a pair of student-athletes listed on the 2020-21 MIAA Academic Honor Roll, released Tuesday by the league office.

Sophomores Grace Holgerson and Sydney McAdoo were listed on the honor roll, both earning their second-such honor. The Tigers were two of 35 student-athletes across the conference mentioned on the list.

Holgerson, an English major emphasizing in teaching, maintains a 3.84 GPA, while McAdoo, a Management major emphasizing in human resource management, carries a GPA of 3.58.

To be recognized on the Academic Honor Roll, one must have a grade point average used by the institution for purposes of NCAA academic certification of 3.00 at the certifying member institution. The individual must also have at least two terms of attendance at the certifying member institution, excluding summer terms. Transfers and true freshman are recognized at the conclusion of the school year, after they meet the two terms of attendance requirement.
