The Salvation Army will be distributing box fans to those in need on Thursday.
One fan per household will be distributed at the Salvation Army Community Center, 1137 N. Santa Fe Avenue, from 9 a.m.-noon and 1-4 p.m. Thursday while the supply lasts.
If you plan to pick up a fan, the Salvation Army asks that you please bring proof of residence with you.
The fans are available thanks to a donation from Evergy.
