ABILENE - Memorial Health System has announced that Amanda Fitzgeralds, BSN, RN, is the new program director for the Senior Life Solutions program.
“Being a nurse is a large part of who I am as a person, and I take pride in the quality of work I provide and am excited to be part this amazing group,” Fitzgeralds said.
The Senior Life Solutions program is an intensive outpatient group therapy program designed to meet the unique needs of individuals typically age 65 and older experiencing depression and/or anxiety related to life changes that are often associated with aging, according to information from Memorial Health System.
As program director, Fitzgeralds will be responsible for directing and coordinating the activities of program staff to ensure quality patient care and providing community education to create awareness of the program, Memorial Health System noted in a news release. Family members, physicians, self-referrals, or other health professionals can refer individuals to the program.
