Bessie "Orise" Halford, 94, of Salina, Kansas, passed away Sunday, March 27th, 2022.
Bessie was born in Bridgeport, Kansas on June 17, 1927, a daughter of the late Bessie Maybelle (Milleson) and Carl Vernon Nelson.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Donald of 50 years, and son Jerald Dean Halford.
Orise married Donald Halford, June 1, 1946 and to this union two sons were born.
Survivors include her son David "Wayne" Halford (Tyra) of Wichita, Kansas; grandchildren Faith Kristine Hernandez (Rafael), Aubrey Miranda Bucy (Nathan), Kathleen Jaynette Crumpton (Jay), Hillary Brooke Gullett (Clinton), Clayton Scott Halford; great-grandchildren Brooklynne, Jacklynne, Chase, Parker, Clayden and Mason.
Orise is also survived by a sister, Blanche Lavone Clark of Salina, Kansas and daughter-in-law Helen Halford of Salina, Kansas.
Cremation has been chosen.
