WHERE: Harvesters Community Food Network
WHY:
This year, with more than $500,000 given to feed families in need, the Hunt Family Foundation and the Kansas City Chiefs were honored as inaugural members of the Harvesters Million Meals Club for their continued work in hunger relief.
Annually, during the months of November and December, the Chiefs have made hunger relief a key focus of the organization’s outreach efforts. Through a partnership with Harvesters and Hy-Vee, the club helps provide food donations to benefit local families in need.
