Weather History for Monday, June 15, 2020, from the National Weather Service in Wichita:

In 1992, it was the first of a two-day outbreak of 123 tornadoes.

Of the total, 58 struck on June 15 and 65 on June 16. Four of the tornadoes were violent F4s.

Among them were two that struck north-central and central Kansas. An F4 that struck Beloit had a track only 3 miles long, while an F4 that struck McPherson had a track 6 miles long.

In all, the tornadoes caused $242 million damage. At the time, it was the third largest tornado outbreak on record spanning a two-day period.
