Police are investigating damage done to a pickup late last week in central Salina.

Someone used an item, possibly a key, to scratch all the way down the driver's side of a 1998 GMC pickup in the 800 block of South Ohio, Salina Police Captain Paul Forrester said this morning. Additionally, it appeared that the word "ugly" was scratched into the paint on the tailgate, he said. The incident is belived to have occurred sometime between 11 p.m. on Thursday and 3 a.m. Friday, Forrester said.
