Vehicle burglaries in southeast Salina result in approximate $1,700 loss

Two vehicle burglaries in southeast Salina resulted in the loss of approximately $1,700 worth of items over the weekend.

Salina Police Captain Paul Forrester said this morning that a Chevrolet Camaro and a Lincoln MKC belonging to Aaron Blenderman, 48, and Stacey Blenderman, 46, both of Salina, were burglarized while they were parked at a residence on Wildcat Circle sometime between 10 p.m. on Saturday and 2 p.m. Sunday. Both vehicles were left unlocked, he said.

Items missing include the following, Forrester said.

An Ogio laptop bag with "1 Vision Aviation" on it

An Acer laptop

Iowa and Kansas notary stamps

Miscellaneous other items

Total loss was estimated at approximately $1,700, he said.
