The Saline County Sheriff's Office is looking for a boat that was stolen from where it was moored on a river in the northeastern part of the county over the weekend.

The owner, Saline County resident Michael Stinchcomb, told the sheriff's office that the boat, a 12-foot aluminum Meyers semi-V boat with 9.9 hp Evinrude outboard motor, was tied up on the Solomon River near the 5300 block of North Jasper Road at 8 a.m. Saturday, Saline County Undersheriff Brent Melander said this morning. When Stinchcomb returned shortly after 5 p.m. Saturday, the boat was gone, Melander said.

Total loss, including lifejackets in the boat, was estimated at $2,100, he said.
