Parts of our area will be under grassland fire danger on Monday.
The combination of gusty winds and dry conditions will result in very high grassland fire danger across parts of mainly central Kansas on Monday, according to the National Weather Service (NWS) in Wichita.
The greatest threat is roughly along and west of a line from Lincoln to Hutchinson.
