UPDATE: Dickinson County reports its 4th and 5th cases of COVID-19

UPDATE: This story has been updated to reflect today's reporting of a fifth COVID-19 case in Dickinson County.

ABILENE -- The Dickinson County Health Department has reported the county's fourth and fifth confirmed cases of COVID-19.

The fourth case, reported Friday, is a 26-year-old male who is currently maintaining in-home isolation and is stable, the health department noted.

"All contacts have been notified and will monitor for fever and respiratory symptoms," John Hultgren, Dickinson County Health Department director, reported in a news release dated Friday but posted on the department's Facebook page this morning.

The fifth case is a 26-year-old female who had close contact to a previously confirmed case. She is maintaining in-home isolation and is stable, the health department noted. Her contacts also have been notified and will monitor for fever and respiratory symptoms, today's health department news release stated.
