A traffic stop early Saturday morning landed two Tennessee women in jail on requested drug charges.
Salina Police Captain Paul Forrester said this morning that an officer noticed a black 2019 Nissan Rogue allegedly speeding eastbound on Interstate 70 at approximately 1 a.m. Saturday. The officer pulled the vehicle over at milepost 254 (Ohio Street exit, he said.
During the traffic stop, the officer noticed the odor of marijuana and the vehicle was searched, Forrester said. The following was found in the car, he said.
A backpack with almost 154 grams of marijuana
A bag with 33 grams of marijuana and some cookies and pretzels that were infused with THC
A bag with 136 grams of marijuana
Forrester said the driver, Tanika Goodall, 36, of Hermitage, Tenn., was arrested on the following requested charges.

Possession of marijuana greater than 25 grams
Possession of drug paraphernalia
A passenger in the vehicle, Cyntanna Collins, 34, of Gallatin, Tenn., was arrested on the following requested charges, he said.
