Small quake rattles part of southeastern Saline County

A small earthquake rattled part of southeastern Saline County late Tuesday afternoon.

According to the Kansas Geological Survey, a 2.3 magnitude quake struck at 4:50 p.m. Tuesday and was centered southwest of Gypsum, just south of Lapsley Road between South Whitmore Road and South Kipp Road.
