Marvin A. Burrier

Marvin A. Burrier, the son of Alba A. Burrier and Helen Maxine (Ladman) Burrier, was born March 2, 1957 in York, Nebraska and passed away on May 21, 2020 in Belleville, Kansas at the age of 63 years, 2 months, and 19 days.

Marvin grew up in York, Nebraska attending the local schools and graduating from York High School.   Marvin served with the U. S. Marine Corps during the Vietnam War, serving in Vietnam.   

Following his honorable discharge, he owned and operated a mechanic shop in Lincoln, NE for several years.    His company received several excellent service awards through the better business bureau.

Marvin later returned to York, NE and then moved to Belleville, Kansas to make his home the last few years.

Marvin was preceded in death by his parents, Alba and Helen Burrier; and one brother, Eugene Couch.

He is survived by one sister, Doris Bowman of York, NE;  2 nephews, Larry Bowman, Jr of Lincoln, NE and Scott (Vicki) Bowman of Benedict, NE; 

Special Friend, Lily D. Scott of Belleville, KS; several great nephews and one great niece; other relatives, and friends.

Cremation was selected and Family Graveside Services with Military Graveside Rites will be held at the Utica Cemetery, Utica, NE at a later date.

Inurnment will follow the services.
