Iris’s life began on October 1, 1938 in Burwell, Nebraska.  She was the daughter of Willis and Doris (Umstead) Scofield. 

 Iris was a homemaker and a mother, who enjoyed raising her daughters. 

 She loved her cat and lived her life simply to the best of her ability. 

 Her loving family includes her daughters Terri (Marty) Frederickson and Tamara Blome, all of Marion; grandchildren Brett and Brody Blome and her brother Irvan (Carolyn) Scofield of Broken Bow, Nebraska.  

Iris passed away on Friday, May 22, 2020 at St. Luke’s Living Center in Marion. 

 She is preceded in death by her parents and sister Barbara Carpenter.
