MCPHERSON -- The McPherson County Health Department reported this morning the county's 27th confirmed case of COVID-19.
The newest confirmed case is a female in her 20s with unknown exposure who is recovering at home but who has been residing out of state.
"She is assigned to us because of her permanent address but does not have any general public contact in McPherson County," the health department noted in a news release.
According to the health department, 22 of the total confirmed cases have now met recovery guidelines set forth by the Kansas Department of Health and Environment. One of the 27 remains hospitalized.
