This week will start on a quiet note with mostly dry conditions and temperatures close to normal for mid-May.
The next few days will feature periods of clouds, morning fog, gradually warming temperatures, and dry daytime conditions, according to the National Weather Service (NWS) in Wichita. Of note, though, where clouds hang around longer, temperatures won't warm as much each day.
Fog is possible late tonight across portions of central Kansas, NWS reported.
By Wednesday night, a few thunderstorms are possible.
From mid-week on, it looks like the chance of thunderstorms will gradually increase, but there is a lot of uncertainty on how strong they will be and who has the best chance of seeing storms, NWS noted.
