The southern part of our area looks to have a chance for some storms this evening.
According to the National Weather Service (NWS) in Wichita, severe storms will continue to impact much of southern Kansas tonight. Storms may redevelop or back-build into south-central Kansas through much of the night.
Repeated rounds of thunderstorms may result in flash flooding, NWS reported.
The threat for strong to severe storms will remain in the forecast for Friday and Saturday. With multiple rounds of thunderstorms expected, the risk of flooding could linger into the weekend, NWS noted.
