Dixie A. Crawford, 84, died May 2, 2020 at the Linn Community Nursing Home, Linn, Kansas.&nbsp; She was born on March 21, 1936 in Clifton, the daughter of Merle and Esther (Peterson) Black.&nbsp; Dixie grew up in Clifton and graduated from Clifton High School in 1953.&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;She attended stewardess school in Omaha.&nbsp; Dixie married Veryl Crawford on July 14, 1961.&nbsp; She worked as a waitress for Big T’s Café, the Cardinal Café and Marty’s Club.&nbsp; Dixie was a member of the Faith United Church Presbyterian in Clifton and the American Legion Auxiliary.&nbsp; She is preceded in death by parents; son, Bryce Crawford and 3 brothers, Eldon, Dean and Harlan Black.

Daughter: Lori and husband, Joe Carney, Colleen, TX

Graveside Memorial Services: &nbsp;will be held on Wednesday, May 20, 2020 at 10:30 AM at the Pleasant View Cemetery in Vining, Kansas.

Visitation:&nbsp;will be held Tuesday, May 19, 2020 from 5:00-7:00 PM at Faith United Church Presbyterian, Clifton, Kansas.
