Salina man arrested after early Sunday rollover

A Salina man was arrested early Sunday after a single-vehicle rollover accident on Old Highway 40.

The accident occurred at approximately 5 a.m. Sunday near the intersection with North Marymount Road, Saline County Sheriff Roger Soldan said this morning.

According to Soldan, Wesley Spragg, 38, of Salina, was westbound on Old Highway 40 in a 1997 Mazda B 2300 pickup. As Spragg approached the North Marymount Road intersection, he began driving on the shoulder, then overcorrected, crossing the highway, and rolling into the south ditch, Soldan said.

Spragg left the scene on foot, but was located by deputies nearby and was arrested on suspicion of the following, Soldan said.

Felony DUI

Driving while suspended

Possession of marijuana

Possession of paraphernalia

Leaving the scene of an accident

Obstruction
