Dear Editor:
The Salina Area Workers Coalition supports the Working Kansas Alliance's written request to Governor Kelly that all "essential" workers who become sick with the Covid-19 virus be eligible for Workers Compensation. Governor Kelly and the KS Department of Labor have approved the measure but Attorney General Schmidt has not. SAWC urges all Kansans to support this benefit for our neighbors who provide essential services during the pandemic.
