Emergency Food Assistance distribution set for May 13

Commodities through the Emergency Food Assistance Program are scheduled to be distributed next week in Salina.

The distribution, which will once again be picked up on a drive-thru basis, is scheduled for 10 a.m. to noon May 13 at the 4-H Building, 900 Greeley Avenue, in Kenwood Park.

Items scheduled to be distributed include peanut butter, apricots, egg noodles, peaches, cheddar cheese, apples, egg mix, oranges, split peas, cherries, pecan halves, applesauce, orange juice, and potatoes.

Participants are required to have with them proof of income, a photo ID or proof of a Saline County address and a signed note if picking up commodities for someone else.
