It's going to be cooler and windy today for the area.
That's the word from the National Weather Service (NWS) in Wichita.
Highs today are expected to top out in the upper 60s to around 70 degrees.
Strong northwest winds will also be in place, with gusts in the 25 to 35 mph range being common, NWS noted.
