Police are investigating the theft of a package from an east Salina apartment complex earlier in the week.
A 61-year-old Salina man reported that he was expecting a package containing an Acer laptop computer to be delivered on Tuesday, Salina Police Captain Paul Forrester reported this morning. When the man checked the tracking information on Tuesday, he discovered that the package had been delivered at 4:09 p.m. on Monday, Forrester explained. When the man didn't find the package at his door, he contacted Fed-Ex. The company confirmed that the package had been delivered on Monday.
The laptop was valued at $330, Forrester noted.
