Here's Thursday's COVID-19 report from Saline County:
The Saline County Health Department does not have any additional positive cases of COVID-19 to report today.
At 11 am, KDHE reported the following in their daily release:
• A total of 2,482 positive cases and 112 deaths. That is an increase of 271 positive cases from yesterdays release.
• There have been 442 of 2,007 cases that have been hospitalized (23.8%).
• 18,836 negative tests have been received through the KDHE and private labs.
• The age range is 0 years to 99 years (median 50 years of age). Governor Kelly’s Statewide Stay-at-Home order is still in effect. Social distancing is imperative. It cannot be stressed enough the importance of staying home and only going out for essential tasks.
Announcements:
• The Salina City Commission approved an alternate staffing plan during their special meeting yesterday evening.
