DICKINSON COUNTY — Two people were injured in an accident just after 6p.m. Wednesday in Dickinson County.
The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2012 Chevy Cruze driven by Sydney Marie Peterson, 21, Abilene, was eastbound on Interstate 70 just east of the K-15 exit.
The car hydroplaned, traveled off the roadway to the South and came to rest in the ditch.
EMS transported Peterson and a passenger Jordan Nicole Millsap, 21, Abilene, to the hospital in Abilene. They were properly restrained at the time of the accident, according to the KHP.
