
We're in for a warmer, sunny day Thursday, though there's a slight chance for showers in central Kansas.
According to the National Weather Service (NWS) in Wichita, Thursday's high temperatures are expected to be in the mid- to upper-70s across central and eastern Kansas.
Isolated showers and storms will also be possible in the late afternoon and evening across central Kansas. These could produce strong wind gusts to around 50 mph and small hail, NWS noted.

Scattered showers and thunderstorms are expected on Friday across central and eastern Kansas with high temperatures in the mid to upper 60s. Severe weather is not expected, according to NWS.
