UPDATE: McPherson County has 16th COVID-19 case

UPDATE: Saturday night, the McPherson County Health Department reported the county's 16th confirmed COVID-19 case.

"The latest identified positive case is a male in his 70s who is recovering at home. This case has known exposure at the facility cluster," the McPherson County Health Department noted in a news release.

MCPHERSON -- For the second day in a row, the McPherson County Health Department has reported no new confirmed cases of COVID-19.

The number of confirmed cases remains 15.

Eight of the total confirmed cases have met recovery guidelines set forth by the Kansas Department of Health and Environment and two of the total confirmed cases are currently hospitalized, the McPherson County Health Department noted.
