A Junction City woman was injured in a one-vehicle accident on Interstate 70 (I-70) northeast of Salina Thursday evening.

Ashley Kochick, 28, of Junction City, was westbound on I-70 at milepost 257 shortly before 7 p.m. when she lost control and the silver 2011 Kia Sorento she was driving left the roadway and entered the north ditch, causing undercarriage damage, Saline County Sheriff Roger Soldan said this morning. Deputies and emergency medical services (EMS) personnel were dispatched to the scene at approximately 6:51 p.m. Thursday, he said.

Kochick complained of neck pain and was transported by EMS to Salina Regional Health Center, Soldan said.
