NWS issues another round of freeze warnings

For the third morning in a row, multiple counties in our area are under freeze warnings.

The National Weather Service (NWS) in Wichita has issued a freeze warning in effect from 3-9 a.m. Wednesday for the following counties in our area.

Ellsworth County

Lincoln County

Marion County

McPherson County

Saline County

Sub-freezing temperatures with lows in the upper 20s across central Kansas are expected. Frost and freeze conditions may kill crops, other sensitive vegetation and possibly damage unprotected outdoor plumbing.

NWS in Topeka has issued a freeze warning in effect from 2-9 a.m. for the following counties in our area.

Clay County

Cloud County

Dickinson County

Ottawa County

Republic County

Freezing temperatures between 32 and 26 degrees are expected. Sensitive vegetation is likely to be damaged if left unprotected.
