Posted Apr 13, 2020 1:30 PM

For the health and safety of patrons, musicians and staff, the decision has been made to extend the postponement of the Salina Symphony Rodgers & Hammerstein concert to Oct. 4.

Ticket holders will receive detailed information regarding tickets via letter or email. Patrons are welcome to call the Symphony Office at 785-823-8309 with questions.

In addition to the May concert postponement, the Symphony at Sunset D-Day Commemoration Concert scheduled for June 6 at the Eisenhower Presidential Library has been cancelled.

"We hope you will make plans to join us June 5, 2021, for the 10th Annual Symphony at Sunset," the symphony noted.

Until we can until we can share music together again, patrons and community members are invited to follow the Salina Symphony Facebook page for day-brightening musical offerings from orchestra members. We also plan to re-broadcast the February Symphony concert May 3 at 4 p.m. – the timeframe for our original season finale – on Radio Kansas. You are invited to tune in.
