"The first confirmed case of COVID-19 for Ellsworth County will be assigned as a Barton County COVID-19 case. The zip code marked the individual as residing in Ellsworth County however physical location is Barton County," the release from the Ellsworth County Health Department noted.

ELLSWORTH -- The Ellsworth County Health Department today reported the county's first confirmed case of COVID-19.
