A 19-year-old Salina man was injured early Sunday morning when a pickup he was driving overturned west of Salina.

Saline County Sheriff Roger Soldan said this morning that Nathan Parks, 19, of Salina, was eastbound on State Street in a white 2000 Toyota Tacoma at approximately 3 a.m. Sunday when the pickup hit a culvert and overturned three-tenths of a mile west of the intersection with North Reese Road.

Parks then attempted to drive for help, but stopped at the intersection of State Street and North Reese Road and called his parents, Soldan said.

According to Soldan, Parks' parents transported him to Salina Regional Health Center with non-life-threatening injuries.
