Third COVID-19 case identified in Ottawa County

MINNEAPOLIS -- Ottawa County has announced that it has confirmed a third case of COVID-19.

Following is a statement from Ottawa County.

The Ottawa County Health Department received notification today confirming a third positive case of COVID-19 in the county. We are working closely with the Kansas Department of Health and Environment during this time.

The individual is currently maintaining in-home isolation and is stable. The Ottawa County Health Department has identified all contacts and will monitor for fever and respiratory symptoms. No further information will be given on the patient.

We continue to ask residents to respect the state stay at home order. Please limit travel to essential functions, household necessities, seeking medical care, caring for family and pets, and exercising outdoors. Remember to keep six feet of physical distance to protect yourself, your family, your friends and your neighbors.
