MCPHERSON -- The McPherson County Health Department announced Saturday the eighth confirmed case of COVID-19 in the county.
The seventh confirmed case in McPherson County was announced just before 10 p.m. Friday.
According to information from the McPherson County Health Department, the seventh person to be confirmed as having COVID-19 is a woman in her 50s who is recovering in isolation at home.
"This case has known travel exposure. McPherson County Health Department and key partners are actively investigating contacts and exposures. If you are an identified contact, you will be directly reached out to by local health officials," the information noted.
The eighth person to be confirmed as having COVID-19 in McPherson County is a woman in her 40s who is recovering in isolation at home, according to information from the McPherson County Health Department. Health officials are investigating to determine the source of the woman's exposure to COVID-19, the information noted.
