Rain showers, and perhaps a few thunderstorms, late Monday afternoon will give way to widespread rain Monday night, according to the National Weather Service (NWS) in Wichita.
Most of the rain should be out of the area by Tuesday morning. Severe weather is not expected at this time, NWS noted.
