Jim F. Lamia, 68, passed away Thursday, March 19, 2020 in Salina. He was born January 12, 1952 in Ellsworth to Jasper and Mary Ann (Simanella) Lamia.

Jim grew up in Kanopolis and had been a longtime resident of both Holyrood and Salina where he was a warehouse and counter salesman for Salina Supply Company. He married Cindy Richard at St. Paul Lutheran Church in rural Ellsworth on July 13, 1974.

Jim is survived by his wife, Cindy of Salina; sons, Michael Lamia of Salina and Brian Lamia (Ashley) of St. Joseph, MO; grandchildren, Tyler, Kirsten, and Olivia Lamia and Brynnan, Gracen, and Bode Lamia; brothers, Leonard Lamia (Vickie) of North Little Rock, AR and Anthony Lamia (Diane) of Holyrood; many nieces and nephews; sister-in-law, Debby Oestmann of Aurora, CO; and brother-in-law, Dru Richard (Candy) of Ellsworth. He was preceded in death by his parents; parents-in-law, Loren and Drucilla Richard; and brother-in-law, Vernon Oestmann.

A celebration of life service will be held at a later date.
