Severe storms are likely for late tonight across much of the region.
According to the National Weather Service (NWS) in Wichita, storms are forecast to start impacting locations generally west of Interstate 135 after 10 p.m. and the remainder of the area after 1 a.m. Tuesday.
Large hail will be the primary hazard with hail size ranging from dime to golf ball size, NWS noted. Winds of 45 to 55 mph are also possible.
