Patty L. Fowles, 87, died April 26, 2021. She was born July 15, 1933 in Clay County, the daughter of Glen and Dorothy (Stoddard) Robinett. Patty grew up in Clay County and graduated from Chapman High School. She married Wilbur Fowles on November 20, 1951 and he preceded her in death on September 30, 2019.
Patty worked as a clerk for the USDA office for over 30 years. After her retirement, Patty worked as a receptionist for Close and Company. Patty was a member of the First Baptist Church and Pilot Club. She also volunteered at the Lighthouse For Christ.
She is preceded in death by her parents, two sisters, Imogene Iseli and Peggy Weidman and brother Gail Robinett.
Survivors:
Daughter: Judy and husband, Ron Hileman of Morganville, Kansas
Son: David Fowles of Clay Center, Kansas
Three grandchildren: Amber (Brandon) McCoy, Brook VanScoyoc and Danielle (Chris) Hull
Four great-grandchildren: Triston, Trace, Kaitlyn and Landon
Three sisters-in-law: Wanda Fowles, Dorothy Fowles and Mary Fowles
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, May 1, 2021 at the First Baptist Church in Clay Center.
Burial at Greenwood Cemetery, Clay Center, Kansas.
Visitation will be from 9:30 a.m. until service time on Saturday, May 1, 2021 at First Baptist Church in Clay Center.
