Laurie Ann Schmidt, 56, of Salina, passed away Monday, July 13, 2020. She was born March 16, 1964 in Salina, KS,

Laurie was a resident of Portland, Oregon, for 10 years before moving back to Salina. She was a Christian and she loved the Lord. &nbsp;

She was preceded in death by her sister, Christie (Merriman) Breault.

Survivors include her parents, Larry and Bonnie Merriman; children, Joshua Merriman, Molly Schmidt; sisters, Deborah Shelton (Jack) of Marion, Jennifer Enochs of Olathe; 2 grandchildren; 2 nieces; 2 nephews and her cat Jake.

Private graveside services will be held later, at Smoky Hill Cemetery in Lindsborg. &nbsp;
