Jeffery Scott Bushong, 52, died March 10, 2020. He was born Feb. 26, 1968 at Ft. Belvoir, VA., the son of Jerry and Mary Lou (Kauffman) Bushong. Jeffrey was dedicated to his country, serving 20 years in the Army and retiring in 2007. He was currently working as a Production Manager for Schwann’s Food Company. He was a proud and loving husband, father, brother, and friend.

Jeffery is preceded in death by his mother, Mary Lou Bushong, and his father, Jerry William Bushong.

He is survived by his wife, Jessica Rae (Nicoll) Bushong; his four children: Danielle (Jarrod) Janzing, 29, and Courtney Renee Bushong, 26, of Wichita, KS, Delilah Lou Bushong 2, and Windsor Scott Bushong, 2, of Salina, KS; and 2 grandchildren. Jeffery is also survived by siblings: John Frank(Sonia) Bushong, and Melinda Mae Bushong of San Antonio, TX, and his nephew, Michael Aaron Bushong of San Antonio, TX.

A Memorial Reception will be held for Jeffery at the Tony’s Event Center at 5 p.m. on Thursday, March 19, 2020.

Inurnment services with Military Honors will be held at the Kansas Veteran’s Cemetery, Manhattan, Ks on Friday, March 20th at 10am.

Memorials are suggested to the American Cancer Society.
