UPDATE: Emergency Food distribution changes

UPDATE 3:45 p.m. Tuesday: The Emergency Food Assistance Program distribution is still on for Wednesday, but it will be on a drive-through basis at the 4-H Building. The time is still noon-1:30 p.m.

The next Emergency Food Assistance Program is scheduled for next week.

The program, hosted by Sunrise Presbyterian Church, is scheduled for noon-1:30 p.m. Wednesday in Kenwood Hall, 900 Greeley Avenue.

Food items to be distributed include black beans, canned pears, long grain rice, fresh apples, pistachio in shells, fresh oranges, dried split peas, frozen pork loin, raisins in box, brown rice, frozen pork chops, mac and cheese box, frozen slice pork ham, and fresh potatoes.

Participants are required to bring proof of income, photo I.D. or proof of a Saline County address, and a signed note if picking commodities up for someone else.
