Police are investigating damage apparently caused by a BB gun earlier in the week.
Sometime between 10 p.m. Monday and 8 a.m. Tuesday, a window was broken on a Bobcat mini excavator owned by Smoky Hill Construction while it was parked at the intersection of Belmont Boulevard and Mayfair Drive, Salina Police Captain Gary Hanus said this morning. It appeared that the window was broken by a BB gun shot, he said.
Damage was estimated at $1,500, Hanus added.
