Hillsboro – Lonnie Lee Nickel, 75, died March 6, 2020 at Wesley Medical Center in Wichita. He was born March 13, 1944 in Goessel to John and Olga (Ratzloff) Nickel.
He married Charlotte King May 7, 1998 in Colorado.
Survivors include: wife, Charlotte Nickel of Lincolnville; sons, Kerry Nickel of Minneapolis, KS, Kacey (Karen) Nickel of Tampa, Don (Ruth) King of Toronto, KS, Elmer King (James Hamel) of Texas, Wilfred (Diana) King of Shawnee Mission, KS; daughters, Kim (Dave) Poague of Salina, Darlene (Greg) Hubbard of Lincolnville; brothers, Wesley Nickel, Leo Nickel; sister, Lila (Roger) Coop. 18 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
Predeceased by two brothers, Johnnie Nickel and Willis Nickel.
Celebration of Life Service 11:00 a.m. Monday, March 16, 2020 at Trinity Mennonite Church in Hillsboro with Pastor Norma Duerksen officiating. Interment at Johannestal cemetery rural Hillsboro.
