OTTAWA COUNTY -- The Kansas Department of Transportation (KDOT) will resume work on the bridge located on U.S. 81 over the Kyle Railroad near Minneapolis.
Work on the bridge, located approximately 12 miles north of Interstate 70, is scheduled to resume on March 11.
Construction will take place during daylight hours and traffic will be reduced to one 15-foot lane with a reduced speed through the work zone. Drivers should expect minor delays, not exceeding five minutes.
A.M. Cohron of Atlantic, Iowa, is the prime contractor on the $4.2 million project and has scheduled this project to be completed by January 2021, weather permitting.
