ASSARIA -- The Saline County Sheriff's Office is investigating another round of break-ins at the Assaria Storage facility.
According to Saline County Sheriff Roger Soldan, three units were broken into sometime between 3 p.m. on Sunday and 3 p.m. on Monday. The break-in was reported by a neighbor who walks past the storage facility every day, Soldan noted.
One person who had one of the units reported that the following items were stolen, Soldan said.
A pre-lit Christmas tree valued at $100
An embroidery machine in a case valued at $600
A Ferrari Le Mans rearview mirror valued at $300
A person who was storing lumber in another unit reported that nothing was missing from his unit, Soldan said. The sheriff's office is still attempting to locate the owner of the third unit, he added.
Damage to the hasps on the doors of the units was estimated at $45, Soldan said.
