While some areas will get rain, rain mixed with snow is a possibility for some counties in our area, including Saline County.

According to the National Weather Service (NWS) in Wichita, rain beginning this morning across southern Kansas will increase in coverage and move north, becoming widespread by early this evening. The heaviest rain will fall this evening and overnight.

Many areas will pick up 0.75 to 1.25 inches of rain, with higher amounts possible across southern Kansas. Minor flooding impacts will be possible, especially overnight when the heaviest rain can be expected.

Snow may mix with rain early Monday morning across portions of central Kansas. This may lead to some slick spots for the morning commute tomorrow.
