
Dangerously hot weather has descended on the state.
While the hot, sunny weather is good for the area wheat crops, it is not good for people and animals who have to be out in it for extended periods of time. Take precautions if you happen to be one of those people, and take care of your pets.

According to the National Weather Service, heat indices are expected to range from 100 to 105 degrees today and Friday.
