Bundle up tonight and bring pets inside. It's going to be a cold one!
According to the National Weather Service (NWS) in Wichita, clear skies and light winds overnight should allow temperatures to fall into the teens. Any areas with a couple of inches of snow and where winds remain calm could drop to 5 to 10 degrees by morning.
The good news is that warmer weather is on the way. A mix of clouds and sun is expected on Saturday, with forecast high temperatures mostly in the upper 50s, NWS noted. Clouds and rain will move in Saturday night, with a good chance of rain throughout the day on Sunday. Forecast high temperatures on Sunday are in the lower 50s.
